Wichita LAN Party Presents - Winter WonderLAN 2008
First LAN of 2008 is here! This even is Special as are host location is a sponsor! MindScapes have offered to host us for this event and with that it is allowing us to hold some additional Tournaments we wouldn’t have otherwise. So look forward to a few special events not normally done.

Here is one of the Bonuses of being at MindScapes for this event, FOOD! We will have Snacks, Drinks, and BAWLS available for sale. Plus we will be selling tickets for Pizza if people are interested. I know this has been a constant thing people have told us we need so now we have it available for at least this event!
The MindScapes iMacs will be available for rent again this event, don’t think just because they are a Mac they are slouches, these things play UT3 at 60fps with all the goodies turned up and at 1680x1050! Plus they have the full Steam Software suite available for play not to mention other titles like UT3.
Space for this event is limited to 60 people and with that you need to preregister by
no later then January 14th 2008 to make sure you get a seat! If we hit 60 on the prereg still signup not everyone shows up that’s on the list. If you don’t preregister by Jan 14th you are welcome to come up and see if space is available but understand you might get turned away if we are at capacity.

Unreal Tournament 3 DM
MAPS WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED ahead of time.
2 maps each 30 minutes long back to back.
High Score places 1,2,3 place.
Pay In Tourney:
Team Forttress 2 5v5
Map to be decided - will be disclosed before Christmas.
$25.00 per Team 100% payout (side bets between teams allowed if wanted)
Payouts are as follows
1st 60%
2nd 30%
3rd 10%
Console:

Players will be split up between easy and hard players, and play in a round robin format to seed the single elimination ladder. If a light turnout we will run round robin only so everyone plays everyone else. Full rules will be posted in the Tournaments Forum!
Spontaneous Game Tournament - Sponsored by Valve Software:
Let us see who is a real Gamer! The game will not be announced ahead of time but at the event itself. We will tell you it will either be some kind of FFA type of game and could be either console or PC!
SciManAl Assures you that this will be a fun game so be sure to signup at the event in ALP to play! Valve Software is sponsoring with some really spiffy prizes, again we won’t share what they are until day of event but you might just want it!
