I cut out about 95lbs of steel and wires to turn it into a case, so no it is not a functional radio on the front.. It had burnt up its power supply when I was like 13 and I never let my parents throw it out cause I wanted to do exactly this to it.. (I am 25 now and this radio was around as long as I can remember)

The power switch lets you turn the cold cathode on and off tho
Then again it plays internet radio/internet tv/dvd's/mp3s so I guess you could say its originally functional..

and dont worry guys, I cant make it to WLP.. so ya still have a chance

After I build the new rig I'll try to make it back to Wichita the same weekend as WLP..

this is a NICE pfsense box/linux box make sure to use aircraft grade duct tape!

Due to only having 2 competitors, I asked both, and they were ok with bringing thier mods in next event and hopefully competing with more than just the two of them

With that being said, I saw 2 awesome mods, One was a computer case built out of 5.12inch floppies, Bawls bottles, Discs, and CDs, truly a memorial for the 90s and its greatness!

Then also Nimda built a shitter box (C) which consisted of a palm IIIe box fully pimped out with dual chambered cooling, and the whole nine yards running Ubuntu.

I was impressed... But come on guys, lets get what mayby 4 people to compete???
