Not to dis on your setup Spaz, but why in the world you gonna do with a 9800gtx in linux?
I hope you know they don't have linux drivers out for the 9800gtx's yet.
Oh and there is no such thing as Vista x64 Business MEDIA CENTER.

Just a few questions, what model of Quad Core you got?
What size of the drives do you have, brand, model?
What speed is your ram and what are the timings?
Does your TV support 1080p?

Keep it up, you have the makings of a good machine...

WTF, is this how to be a ass Wednesday? (jk)

Drivers or not Linux can still use the card without 3D acceleration. As far as Vista I have Ultimate. The info there was from where I cut and pasted from Sandra all my info because I was lazy.

CPU Model: Intel Q6600 Model: BX80562Q6600
I have 4 250gb WD Caviar SE16 7200 WB Model: WD2500AAKS
Memory: 4GB 5-5-5-15 DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Model: TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF
TV: My TV officially doesn't support 1080P but if you try to set it to that it will display a picture. The problem is that its all purple and off center.

Haha, Nimda always smells like ass
You should try OC'ing that proc. There have been some good results, like 3.0ghz.
That would help drive that video card of yours to a whole new level.

I might if I need the extra speed. So far the lowest I seen it go is 45fps in UT3 at 1080i @ maxed settings. Downloading crysis now. My old 7800 couldn't handle it.

WTF... On the can you run it site. I get a 3 out of 6 for my card. :_b_link__:
